In line with the directives of Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of Mosul University, and as part of the “Ghiras Al-Rahma” initiative launched by the university presidency, green efforts continued at the College of Arts under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Hatim Fahd Hanno, Dean of the College. The Voluntary Work Unit organized a tree-planting campaign in collaboration with the Agricultural Unit and the Media and Government Communications Department at the university presidency, with the aim of expanding green spaces, improving the aesthetic appeal of the campus, and supporting a sustainable environment.

The initiative witnessed wide participation from college faculty members and student volunteers who contributed to planting various saplings throughout the college, creating an atmosphere that embodied the spirit of cooperation, belonging, and social responsibility.

This initiative is part of Mosul University’s vision to build a sustainable green university that promotes volunteerism, contributes to raising awareness of environmental conservation, and integrates these values into the daily university life.
