As part of the “Ghiras Al-Rahma” initiative launched by the Presidency of Mosul University, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics continued its efforts to support environmental initiatives through a tree-planting campaign held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
The campaign was supervised by the Agricultural Division in the Department of Administrative Affairs, in cooperation with the Department of Media and Government Communication.
Professor Dr. Duha Basheer Abdullah, Dean of the College, oversaw and participated in the campaign alongside a group of faculty members, staff, and students, during which several trees and ornamental plants were planted around the college premises.
This initiative aims to expand green spaces, raise environmental awareness within the university campus, and foster a spirit of cooperation and volunteerism, while nurturing a sense of responsibility toward preserving and sustaining the beauty of the university environment.
