Mosul University… Fruitful Cooperation with French Universities to Strengthen the Postgraduate Studies Landscape

The Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations / Francophone Corner Unit held a workshop on Master’s and PhD Scholarships in France (Eiffel Excellence Scholarship) for the 2026 academic year.
On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the Presidency of Mosul University, through the Francophone Corner Unit, organized a specialized workshop on the application procedures for the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship offered by France for the 2026 academic year.
The workshop was attended by Dr. Ali Nazeer, Director of the Department, and Dr. Samir Riyadh, Head of the Francophone Corner Unit, along with a group of postgraduate students and staff interested in applying for these prestigious scholarships.
The event included a detailed presentation on the application mechanisms, conditions, and requirements, with an emphasis on the accuracy of data and information provided in applicants’ files to ensure compliance with program standards. The workshop also featured extensive discussions and comprehensive responses to participants’ inquiries, ensuring a full understanding of the scholarship procedures and criteria.
This activity comes as part of Mosul University’s efforts to strengthen its international academic openness, build bridges of cooperation with reputable global universities and academic institutions, support the advancement of scientific research, improve its outputs, and enhance the capabilities of its students and researchers in the field of postgraduate studies.
