In continuation of the “Ghiras Al-Rahma” campaign launched by Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of Mosul University, with the goal of expanding green spaces and reducing pollution across the university campus—and with the support and efforts of the Agricultural Division in the Administrative Affairs Department, in cooperation with the Department of Media and Government Communication—the Department of Student Activities organized on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, an extensive tree-planting campaign targeting the department’s gardens and courtyards.

The campaign included the planting of various types of trees and plants as part of the university’s broader green initiative, aimed at promoting a culture of volunteerism among students and reaffirming the university’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) toward a cleaner environment and a better campus life.
