Mosul University Celebrates Fifty Years of Academic Excellence at the College of Education for Humanitarian Sciences

Under the patronage and presence of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of Mosul University, the College of Education for Humanities held a grand celebration on Thursday, November 20, 2025, marking its 50th anniversary since establishment. The event was organized under the supervision and attendance of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Saad Ramadan Al-Jubouri.
The ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jasim, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs; Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Aboudi, Director of Nineveh Education Directorate; and Professor Dr. Basel Khalaf, Head of the Academics Syndicate – Nineveh Branch. The event also saw the participation of several college deans, faculty members, students, and distinguished guests.
The celebration program included several segments, beginning with the Iraqi national anthem and the recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha in memory of Iraq’s martyrs. This was followed by a speech by the Dean of the College, a documentary film highlighting the college’s journey and achievements, as well as poetic performances and traditional musical pieces. The event concluded with a theatrical performance presented by students from the Department of English Language, reflecting the college’s rich cultural and educational heritage over five decades of excellence.
