College of Islamic Sciences Hosts a Training Course on Translation Tools and Techniques in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

The Sharia Department at the College of Islamic Sciences organized a training course from December 2 to 5, 2025, focused on the most important tools and techniques of modern translation in light of the rapid development of artificial intelligence applications. The course aimed to introduce the latest developments in intelligent translation, the most popular electronic translation tools, and language assistance programs, as well as how to leverage them to enhance work quality and speed. The course also covered the concept of artificial intelligence and its role in supporting modern translation processes.
The course discussed the differences between human translation and machine translation, emphasizing the importance of the translator’s role in reviewing texts and ensuring accurate meaning. It also highlighted the translator’s skills in the digital age and the necessity of keeping up with technological advancements. The course included practical applications using artificial intelligence tools to translate general texts and compared them with manual translations, thus enhancing participants’ ability to assess translation quality and select the appropriate tools for their work.
