The 29th Cohort of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Mosul Recites the Professional Oath under the Banner of “Excellence and Innovation” for the Academic Year 2024–2025

 

The students of the 29th cohort at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Mosul, under the slogan “Excellence and Innovation”, recited the professional oath in a grand ceremony that reflected the spirit of responsibility and readiness to enter the healthcare field with confidence and competence.

The college held the professional oath-taking ceremony for the new cohort on the morning of Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in the presence of the Assistant of the President for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Rafal Hasan Hamed, members of the college council, and a large number of graduating students.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha, followed by the national anthem and the University of Mosul anthem. The dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Yasser Fakhri Mustafa, delivered a welcoming and guiding speech, emphasizing the humanitarian and ethical role of the pharmacy profession, and the importance of graduates adhering to quality standards and professional responsibility. The ceremony also included the symbolic handing over of the flag to the representative of the new cohort, a tradition that symbolizes the transfer of scientific and ethical heritage between generations.

Following this, the students of the 29th cohort recited the professional oath, which serves as a pledge to convert their knowledge into humanitarian service based on integrity and competence, and to continue improving pharmaceutical performance to serve the healthcare sector and society.

This ceremony highlighted the achievements of the University of Mosul and the excellence of its students, reaffirming the university’s mission in preparing distinguished professional cadres that contribute to strengthening the healthcare system in Iraq.
