College of Education for Humanities Concludes its Training Workshop on Developing Strategic Thinking and Planning

 

The Department of History at the College of Education for Humanities, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit, concluded the activities of its training workshop titled “Fostering a Culture of Thinking and Strategic Planning in Higher Education Institutions.” The workshop, which began on 7 December 2025 and lasted for three days, witnessed the participation of a select group of faculty members from various academic departments.

The workshop addressed several specialized themes aimed at strengthening a culture of strategic thinking and contemporary planning approaches within higher education institutions. It included a review of methodologies for analyzing the educational environment and utilizing data and scientific indicators to develop effective strategic plans. Additionally, it discussed mechanisms for enhancing institutional performance quality, improving administrative procedures, and building participants’ capacities to make well-informed decisions that consider long-term planning—thereby supporting the development of academic and administrative programs at the university and improving the quality of its outcomes.
