College of Education for Humanities Holds a Training Workshop to Enhance the Skills of Student Teachers

The College of Education for Humanities at the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Nineveh Directorate of Education, the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit, and the Department of Arabic Language, organized a training workshop titled “Institutional Integration between the College of Education and Schools to Develop the Skills of Student Teachers.”
The workshop saw wide participation from faculty members and students, and came as part of the effective partnership between the university and educational institutions, aiming to equip student teachers with the necessary academic and pedagogical skills.

The five-day workshop targeted fourth-year students in the Department of Arabic Language, as part of the college’s efforts to support the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by developing students’ professional competencies. It also aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through strengthening institutional collaboration with the Nineveh Directorate of Education, contributing to the preparation of qualified teaching cadres capable of integrating effectively into the educational environment.
