College of Science at University of Mosul Launches Campaign to Combat Digital Violence Against Women and Girls

The College of Science at the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning and the Women’s Affairs Unit at the University Presidency, launched a specialized awareness campaign to combat digital violence against women and girls, as part of the implementation of the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security.
The campaign included the distribution of awareness brochures bearing the slogan “Unite to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls,” aiming to raise public awareness about the growing dangers of this escalating form of online abuse.

The initiative seeks to empower women and girls to use technology safely, promote a digital environment that respects rights and ensures protection and dignity, and encourage institutions and society to take effective steps to prevent and address digital violence.
This activity aligns with national and international efforts to support women and with the Sustainable Development Goals related to good health and well-being and gender equality.
