On Thursday, December 11, 2025, the President of Mosul University, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, received Mr. Mohammad Hassan Qadu Al-Kubaisi, Director of the Sunni Endowment in Nineveh, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting aimed to support and strengthen cooperation between both parties. The President of the University welcomed the visit, appreciating the role of the Sunni Endowment in enhancing community and educational work in the governorate.

The meeting discussed a number of mutual topics, including avenues for cooperation between the academic institutions of the Sunni Endowment and Mosul University. The importance of developing scientific and research programs was highlighted to contribute to enhancing the educational journey. Additionally, the discussions included the possibility of involving Endowment preachers in teaching and preaching methodology courses organized by the university’s specialized centers, aiming to enhance their skills and positively impact their community performance.

During the meeting, the University President emphasized that Mosul University, with its academic and human resources, opens its doors to provide support and expertise to official institutions, aligning with its mission to serve the community and enable its institutions to perform their tasks effectively.
