The College of Engineering at the University of Mosul hosted a specialized ministerial committee for a field visit aimed at reviewing the technical and academic aspects related to the establishment of a PhD program in the Department of Dams Engineering and Water Resources. The visit included a tour of classrooms and scientific laboratories, as well as an assessment of the infrastructure, material, and technical requirements necessary for launching the program, in accordance with the regulations and guidelines established by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

This initiative is part of the University of Mosul’s commitment to advancing its graduate studies system and enhancing scientific research in vital engineering disciplines, contributing to meeting the needs of the labor market and supporting infrastructure and water resources projects in Iraq. It also reinforces the university’s academic role as a leading scientific center in this field.
