The “Seed of Goodness” Volunteer Team at the College of Agriculture and Forestry Launches the “Plant Seeds of Hope for a Better Future” Campaign

The “Seed of Goodness”(Bathret Kheer) volunteer team at the College of Agriculture and Forestry at the University of Mosul launched a volunteer campaign in collaboration with the Nineveh Education Directorate at Al-Khalidiya Primary School for Girls in the right bank of the city. The campaign, titled “Plant Seeds of Hope for a Better Future,” aligns with the university’s goals of supporting sustainable development principles and raising environmental awareness among school students.
The campaign involved planting over fifty types of ornamental plant seeds, aimed at activating green spaces and promoting a healthy and attractive school environment. Activities included preparing the soil, planting the seeds, and watering them with the participation of the schoolgirls, in an educational experience designed to foster a love for agriculture and teamwork, while instilling values of environmental preservation and social responsibility in the younger generation.
These initiatives are part of the University of Mosul’s commitment to serving the community and supporting projects that cultivate hope and create a positive impact in their surroundings.
