On Thursday, December 11, 2025, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of Mosul University, received Dr. Adnan Al-Jumaili, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Administrative Affairs, during a tour that included several university facilities. The visit aimed to review the tangible progress and achievements of the university in rebuilding its infrastructure and enhancing its academic capacities after the destruction caused by extremist forces, affirming its continued resurgence and return to its pioneering role.

The tour included visits to the university press, the central library, and the carpentry workshop, where the Undersecretary observed the extensive efforts made to rehabilitate these vital facilities and prepare them to resume their roles in serving students and researchers. Dr. Adnan Al-Jumaili expressed his high appreciation for the accomplishments made in a remarkably short period, emphasizing that what he witnessed reflected the determination and resolve of the university’s leadership and staff, as well as their ability to overcome challenges and move steadfastly toward strengthening the university’s academic and scientific journey.
