On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, and under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Scientific Assistant to the President of the University, Professor Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim, and the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Sivan Saad, the Human Rights Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine, in collaboration with the Human Rights Department at the University Presidency and the Dormitory Committee, organized an outstanding humanitarian event as part of the university’s responsibility towards its students and community.

The event, held on Tuesday, 9 December, 2025, included a visit to the dormitories to check on the conditions of the female students and to enhance a safe and healthy living environment. The visit involved providing the female students in the dormitories with first-aid kits, in addition to assessing their needs and listening to their feedback, with the aim of improving service quality.
