On Monday, December 15, 2025, the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the University of Mosul held an extensive meeting attended by the Assistant Deans of Colleges for Scientific Affairs, the heads of the scholarships and cultural relations units, and representatives from the university’s centers. The meeting aimed to discuss ways to develop joint work and enhance institutional coordination in the field of international cooperation.

The meeting focused on strengthening academic and scientific collaboration with French universities and exploring mechanisms to develop existing partnerships while creating new opportunities for cooperation that contribute to supporting scientific research and academic exchange. The attendees also discussed proposals presented by the colleges and ways to activate them in alignment with the university’s strategies to engage with international academic institutions, particularly French-speaking ones, and enhance the presence of the University of Mosul in the Francophone space. The goal is to establish more effective academic partnerships that will support higher education and scientific research at the university.
