University of Mosul Leverages Its Scientific and Logistical Resources to Expand Graduate Programs

The New Energies Department at the College of Science, University of Mosul, hosted a ministerial committee composed of specialists from the Universities of Baghdad, Al-Mustansiriya, and Basra for a field visit aimed at evaluating the material and human resources available in the department. The committee’s mission was to review a request for the establishment of a master’s program in the department as part of the university’s efforts to expand its graduate programs and enhance scientific research.
The visit included a comprehensive tour of the department’s laboratories, classrooms, buildings, and library, where the committee assessed the infrastructure supporting the academic and research journey. After a thorough evaluation, the ministerial committee expressed its support for establishing the master’s program in the department, citing the qualified teaching staff, precise scientific specializations, distinguished academic titles, and the department’s diverse research and academic activities. This development is expected to contribute to advancing the scientific research level at the College of Science.
