In line with the directives of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of the scientific promotion procedures and exchanging institutional experiences, the Central Committee for Scientific Promotions at the University of Mosul held a specialized workshop on the mechanisms of electronic submission adopted in the scientific promotion system. This was in response to an invitation from the Presidency of Al-Noor University College on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

The workshop was overseen by the Chairman of the Central Committee, Professor Dr. Akram Mahmoud Al-Baddou, and included participation from several committee members, the head of the Scientific Promotions Affairs Division, and its staff. During the workshop, key challenges faced by faculty members in electronically submitting promotion applications were discussed, alongside a review of the most important ministerial circulars that govern these procedures. The workshop also highlighted how to apply these mechanisms in accordance with the established guidelines and regulations, aiming to streamline the process, raise awareness of the electronic system’s requirements, and support the development of both academic and administrative performance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing applications.
