The Department of Gardens, Science, and Technology at the University of Mosul, in collaboration with the Nineveh Education Directorate, organized a scientific workshop titled “Effective Educational Application in Enhancing Sustainability of Quality in Educational Institutions” on Sunday, December 21, 2025. The event was attended by Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jasim, the Assistant of the President for Scientific Affairs, and a wide participation of academics, educational supervisors, and specialized academic staff.

The workshop aimed to focus on the importance of adopting modern educational applications to achieve sustainability in quality education through various topics, including the development of teaching methods, improving institutional performance, and enhancing educational outcomes to align with contemporary needs and quality standards. The sessions of the workshop discussed key scientific themes, including concepts of quality and performance in educational institutions, field implementation mechanisms, and the presentation of successful experiences and practical models that contribute to activating the educational environment, encouraging creativity and innovation among students and teachers. Additionally, challenges and obstacles faced by educational institutions in this field were discussed, along with solutions through future plans aimed at utilizing capacities and developing skills.

The organizers emphasized the importance of building effective partnerships between universities and education directorates to support the educational process, as a platform for unifying visions and exchanging experiences in development paths. This collaboration contributes to preparing a generation that is aware of the requirements of the stage and capable of innovation. The organization of this workshop is part of a series of activities that the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Nineveh Education Directorate, is committed to carrying out, reflecting its pivotal role in serving the community.
