Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, the activities of the “Bridge of Mercy” project continued for the second consecutive day on Sunday, December 21, 2025, with the participation of faculty members and students from the College of Veterinary Medicine and the College of Agriculture and Forestry across various scientific disciplines.

Faculty members and students from the College of Veterinary Medicine participated in performing examinations and treating several animals in the area, conducting pregnancy tests, and providing necessary guidance and advice to breeders, supporting the animal sector and enhancing veterinary health awareness. The campaign will continue with the participation of other specialties in the coming days to complete the diagnostic and treatment tasks.

Meanwhile, faculty members and students from the College of Agriculture and Forestry continued their activities for the second consecutive day as part of the largest volunteer project organized by the University of Mosul in the village of Bartella. The activities included distributing agricultural advisory pamphlets with recommendations on planting, plant care, animal production, and pest and disease control. Additionally, fertilizers, pesticides, and seeds were distributed. The activities also included visits to several agricultural fields to assess the status of crops and provide necessary recommendations to improve their growth, along with planting trees and plants, contributing to sustainable agricultural development in the area.
