On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, the permanent committee of the University of Mosul conducted artistic talent tests to select members for the university’s central teams, aiming to attract student talents in the fields of music, singing, and choral performance. This activity was overseen by the Student Activities Department at the university’s presidency.

The initiative aligns with the university’s commitment to nurturing young artistic talents and providing a supportive environment that contributes to developing students’ skills and refining their creative abilities under specialized academic and artistic supervision.

The tests aim to form the core teams for the University of Mosul Choir and the University of Mosul Music Band, to represent the university at various cultural festivals, events, and gatherings. The committee’s evaluation process focused on selecting outstanding artistic talents, enhancing the university’s cultural and artistic presence, and reflecting its rich heritage and role in supporting student artistic movement within the campus.
