As part of his ongoing efforts to meet the needs of the educational and service processes, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, conducted a field visit on Monday, December 22, 2025, to the College of Political Science and the College of Basic Education. During the visit, he examined the classrooms, scientific laboratories, and service facilities, as well as ongoing reconstruction projects. He also listened to the requirements for maintaining the continuity of academic and service work, in line with the university’s goals to enhance and improve both its academic and service levels.

The tour also included an inspection of the Unified National ID Card Issuance Station at the second university campus, accompanied by Major General Hikmat Dham Al-Juwari, Director of the Civil Status, Passports, and Residency Directorate in Nineveh Province. The president of the university emphasized the university’s commitment to supporting the smooth operation of the station, facilitating the process for citizens to obtain their unified national ID cards. This reflects the university’s active role in serving both individuals and the community.
