For the First Time… University of Mosul Organizes OSCE Exam for Fourth-Year Students at the College of Pharmacy

In support of modern academic assessment methods in the medical and therapeutic fields, the College of Pharmacy at the University of Mosul organized the OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) for fourth-year students in the Clinical Pharmacy course, held on Monday and Tuesday, December 22–23, 2025. This step is being implemented for the first time at both the University and the College level.

This initiative aims to assess the clinical and practical skills of students and measure their ability to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world situations, thereby enhancing their professional readiness. The OSCE exam is a globally recognized assessment method, known for its objectivity and accuracy in measuring clinical performance. Its organization aligns with the University of Mosul’s efforts to develop academic curricula and update assessment methods in academic evaluation.
