Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, chaired a meeting on Monday, December 22, 2025, with the staff of the Faculty of Pharmacy, attended by Assistant Administrative Assistant of the President, Assistant Professor Dr. Rafal Hasan Hamed, and Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Yasser Fakhri Mustafa. The meeting aimed to review the current academic and operational environment at the college. During the meeting, the president listened to a number of proposals aimed at improving administrative performance and simplifying procedures, emphasizing that enhancing academic institutions begins with empowering staff and providing the necessary tools to improve output quality, while stressing the importance of overcoming daily operational obstacles.

The meeting included an extensive discussion of solutions related to developing infrastructure, laboratories, and strengthening research pathways, with a focus on improving the student environment and enhancing services provided to ensure an ideal study atmosphere. This meeting is part of the University of Mosul’s ongoing efforts to establish a stimulating academic environment that combines scientific rigor with professional well-being, positively impacting the outputs of the College of Pharmacy and its leading role in supplying the health and pharmaceutical sectors with qualified professionals.
