The College of Medicine at the University of Mosul, in collaboration with the Department of Studies and Planning/Unit for Sustainable Development at the University Presidency, organized a scientific workshop titled “References and Their Importance in Scientific Research” on Monday, December 22, 2025. The workshop is part of the program to develop research skills for graduate students, with participation from master’s and doctoral students from various colleges.

The workshop aimed to enhance the ability of graduate students to correctly use scientific references in academic research, and to introduce them to the most useful programs for organizing and arranging references according to established scientific standards. This workshop reflects the University of Mosul’s role in supporting the research journey and developing the academic capabilities of its students, in line with achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 4 and 5 related to quality education and empowering scientific competencies.
