Advisor to the Prime Minister Conducts a Field Tour of the Facilities and Landmarks of the University of Mosul

As part of his visit to the University of Mosul, Dr. Haider Al-Saadi, Advisor to the Prime Minister, conducted an inspection tour on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, of several facilities and landmarks across the university. He was accompanied by Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University, and attended by Dr. Mousa Al-Mousawi, Head of the Academic Affairs Committee of the Permanent National Committee for Community Awareness and Guidance at the Prime Minister’s Office, as well as Assistant Professor Dr. Faris Mahdi Alwan, Director General of Private Education.
The tour included Ibn Al-Athir House for Printing and Publishing, the carpentry, metalwork, and maintenance workshops, the Central Library, the Theater and Hall of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jalili, and the University Lake. The visiting delegation reviewed the ongoing efforts to reconstruct and rehabilitate the university’s infrastructure and facilities. The attendees commended the achievements accomplished, praising the active role of the University of Mosul in supporting the educational and research process and in providing academic and community services. They also reaffirmed the government’s support for the university’s direction in this regard, in service of both its staff and the wider community.
