The President of the University of Mosul, Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, inaugurated a new service and scientific building at the College of Medicine on Sunday, December 28, 2025, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Hummam Ghanem, and members of the college council. The two-story building is part of the university’s efforts to enhance the educational and service environment for the college’s students. The ground floor has been designated as a modern cafeteria designed according to health standards, providing a comfortable atmosphere to meet the students’ needs.

The second floor contains scientific laboratories equipped with the latest technologies and training equipment, which will contribute to enhancing practical training in accordance with global academic standards. The university president emphasized that this project, which began implementation in early 2024, is part of the strategic plans to develop infrastructure, particularly in medical colleges. He stressed the importance of making optimal use of these facilities to maintain the quality of educational outputs and continue creating a comprehensive university environment that supports scientific and skillful excellence.
