Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, chaired a meeting on Sunday, December 28, 2025, attended by Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jasim, the Assistant of the President for Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Basel Khalaf, Head of the Academics Syndicate in Nineveh. The meeting, which included the deanship and staff of the College of Education for Girls, was dedicated to directly reviewing the academic and operational environment within the college. It emphasized that enhancing institutional performance begins with empowering teaching and administrative staff and providing the necessary resources to support the quality of services, while focusing on overcoming the obstacles faced in daily operations.

The meeting featured an extensive discussion on various topics related to the development of infrastructure, improvement of classrooms and laboratories, and support for solid scientific research. Attention was also given to the student environment and ways to improve the services offered to female students to ensure an ideal academic atmosphere. This meeting is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to establish a university environment that fosters creativity, combining scientific integrity with professional well-being, and contributing to the leadership role of the college in preparing competent educators who are capable of serving the community.
