The College of Education for Girls Collaborates with the Girls’ Sports Club in a Joint Sports Carnival

 

In support of institutional partnership and sustainable development goals, the College of Education for Girls organized a joint sports carnival in collaboration with the Girls’ Sports Club on Monday, December 29, 2025, with wide participation from the college’s students and faculty members.

The opening ceremony was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Shatha Hazem Korkis, Dean of the College of Education for Women, Dr. Nibras Younis, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, and Mrs. Amira Al-Shammaa, Director of the Girls’ Sports Club.

The event featured a joint marathon for the college’s students and club athletes, in addition to a friendly volleyball match, which ended with the College of Education for Girls team winning in an atmosphere of enthusiastic support that reflected the spirit of cooperation and active competition.

This activity reaffirms the University of Mosul’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with sports and community organizations, promoting physical activity and artistic creativity within the university environment, and contributing to empowering women and building a cohesive university community that uplifts everyone.
