The University of Mosul Implements Modern Agricultural Techniques in Rabi’a District

Researchers from the Dryland and Conservation Agriculture Research Center at the University of Mosul implemented conservation agriculture techniques (no-till farming) in the fields of farmers in Rabi’a district. This initiative aims to transfer modern agricultural technologies to the field and improve the local agricultural reality.

The activity was carried out in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), under the supervision of a specialized research team from the center. The technique was applied to various areas and compared with traditional farming, using different varieties of bread wheat. This project aligns with the University of Mosul’s goals of serving the community and supporting sustainable development.
