On December 29, 2025, Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, chaired an extensive meeting attended by Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jasim, the Assistant of the President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Rafal Hasan Hamed, the Assistant of the President for Administrative Affairs, and Dr. Basel Khalaf, Head of the Academics Syndicate in Nineveh. The meeting included the deanship and staff of the College of Law at the university.

The meeting was dedicated to directly reviewing the teaching, research, and academic environment within the college. The university president emphasized that improving the legal and educational system begins with empowering teaching and administrative staff and providing the necessary tools to enhance the quality of academic performance. He stressed the importance of overcoming administrative and technical obstacles that hinder daily operations, contributing to the advancement of scientific and research progress and elevating the status of the College of Law in the academic journey of the University of Mosul.
