As part of the university’s ongoing efforts to overcome challenges that hinder the academic and scientific progress of students and staff, Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, held his weekly meeting on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, to meet with several university staff members. The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jasim, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Rafal Hasan Hamed, the Assistant of the President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Basel Khalaf, Head of the Academics Syndicate in Nineveh, and Dr. Ahmed Ubaid, Head of the Citizens Affairs Department at the university.

During the meeting, the president listened attentively to all the issues, suggestions, and problems raised, and directed immediate and appropriate solutions to be implemented, along with adopting constructive ideas aimed at improving the work environment. He also issued instructions to the relevant departments to expedite necessary actions, reaffirming the university’s commitment to creating an academic and service environment that protects rights and serves all of its staff members.
