The University of Mosul Discusses Negative Phenomena in the Academic Community and Solutions for Achieving Sustainable Development

The University of Mosul highlighted several negative phenomena in the academic environment through a discussion session organized by the Regional Studies Center titled “Negative Phenomena in the Academic Community and Mechanisms for Addressing Them.”
The session addressed the main challenges affecting the quality of education and scientific research, emphasizing the importance of addressing these issues in line with sustainable development goals, particularly quality education, peace and justice, and building strong institutions. The discussion stressed the need to establish academic integrity, enhance transparency and institutional accountability, and activate university laws and regulations to help create an educational environment that supports sustainable development.
