On January 4, 2026, Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, chaired an extensive meeting with the deanships and staff of the Colleges of Engineering and Administration and Economics. The meeting, attended by Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jasim, the Assistant of the President for Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Basel Khalaf, Head of the Academics Syndicate in Nineveh, was focused on reviewing the teaching and research environment and enhancing both scientific and logistical support.

The university president emphasized the importance of empowering teaching and administrative staff and overcoming obstacles to ensure the leadership of the College of Engineering in technical and architectural fields and the College of Administration and Economics in planning and development. He reiterated the university’s commitment to advancing academic and research progress at the University of Mosul.
