The University of Mosul Discusses Recent Developments in Futsal Laws through a Scientific Workshop

 

The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, in collaboration with the Sustainable Development Unit at the university’s presidency, held a specialized scientific workshop on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, titled “Recent Developments in Futsal Laws.” This initiative was part of the university’s commitment to stay updated with the changes in the laws and regulations of the game and to apply them for its enhancement and development.

The workshop provided a detailed explanation of the latest amendments approved by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) regarding futsal law materials, highlighting the new refereeing procedures and their practical implementation in line with modern international standards. The goal was to enable faculty members, students, and coaches to understand and apply these updates correctly, which would contribute to the improvement of both athletic and refereeing performance, as well as keeping up with global advancements in the game’s laws.
