Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, chaired on Sunday, January 18, 2026, an expanded meeting with the administrative staff of the Colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Engineering, and Science. The meeting focused on following up on administrative and legal files related to employees’ service affairs.

During the meeting, mechanisms for completing annual increments and due promotions were reviewed, along with organizing procedures related to transfers and leaves in accordance with applicable regulations and instructions. Emphasis was also placed on ways to enhance the level of institutional performance.

The University President stressed the importance of accuracy and timeliness in completing all administrative tasks and overcoming any obstacles that may hinder workflow. He reaffirmed the University Presidency’s commitment to supporting administrative staff and providing an appropriate work environment that safeguards employees’ rights and strengthens the university’s scientific and academic mission.
