As part of his weekly program to address obstacles and overcome challenges, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, met on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, with a number of university staff members. The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jasim, Assistant to the President for Scientific Affairs. During the meeting, the president listened attentively to the administrative and academic challenges faced by the staff, as well as their most important suggestions. He promised to find solutions and remedies in accordance with ministerial regulations and instructions.

The meeting was also attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Bassel Khalaf Hamoud, the Head of the University Academics’ Syndicate in Nineveh, and Dr. Saba Khair Al-Din, Head of the Citizens’ Affairs Unit.
