With a firm belief that nations can only rise through both of their wings (men and women), and in a step that reflects the wise vision of the University of Mosul Presidency in enhancing the leadership role of women, the University President directed all deans of faculties to empower female faculty members by appointing a “Representative for Female Faculty members” to be an active voice within our academic councils.

This directive represents a victory for competence and a true translation of the university’s strategy for empowering women, based on solid legal frameworks:

At the university level, the election will take place through the esteemed University Council, according to paragraph (E) of Article (13) of the Ministry’s law.

At the college level, the selection will be made through the Faculty Council, based on paragraph (2) of Article (19) of the Ministry’s law.

We are not just granting women roles; we are restoring balance in decision-making with their presence, drawing new horizons for development and scientific research from their intellect. Today, the academic journey in “Umm Al-Rabeein” shines brightly with the strength of women, confirming that knowledge and leadership are inseparable.
