Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations

The Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at # University_of_Mosul held a workshop on “Preserving the vanishing cultural heritage in post-war Mosul” in the hall of the Baytna Foundation for Culture, Arts and Heritage in cooperation with the universities of Nottingham Trent, University of Wasit and University of Leeds. In the courtyard of the institution, a pertinent special exhibition of the research project results was held which. The exhibition included a presentation the research project findings as well as the outputs of the (Heritage) competition for architectural documentation. About the same topic, introductory speeches were given about the project and its various outputs. The workshop was held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, in which the following academic staff participated:
Head of the Heritage Center Department at Nottingham Trent University, Professor Mohamed Jamal
President of Wasit University, Professor Dr. Mazen Al-Hassani
Professor Dr. Subih Al-Zubaidi, Vice President of Scientific Affairs at University of Wasit
At the end of the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were given to the researchers who participated in the project, and a tour was held around the Baytna Foundation and the old alleys of Mosul city.
