Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Dentistry was Organized Educational Lecture on the Role of Women in Elections

On Thursday, September 25, 2025, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Dentistry organized an educational lecture entitled “The Role of Women in Elections.” The lecture was delivered by Ms. Sally Moqdad Younis, with the attendance of a number of faculty members, staff, and students.
The lecture highlighted the importance of women’s participation in elections as a constitutional right and a national responsibility, emphasizing the impact of empowering women politically in strengthening democracy and decision-making. It also addressed the main challenges facing women in the electoral process and discussed ways to overcome them, while stressing the need to raise community awareness and encourage female voters to exercise this right freely and consciously.
At the conclusion of the event, a discussion and Q&A session was held, which enriched the lecture, with participants actively engaging and affirming the importance of continuing such awareness-raising activities within the college and the broader community.
