Launching a Specialized Workshop at the College of Dentistry on Entrepreneurship and Scientific Research

Under the patronage of the College of Dentistry and in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology Parks / Technological Incubator Division at the University of Mosul, a specialized scientific workshop entitled “The Role of the Department of Science and Technology Parks in Promoting Scientific Research and Entrepreneurship in Dentistry” was launched today, Sunday, October 12, 2025.

The first day of the two-day workshop featured valuable lectures delivered by:

Assist. Prof. Dr. Khansa Abdullah Ahmed – Head of the Technological Incubator and Ecosystem Division

Lecturer Asmaa Khalid Jirjis – Head of the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division

Assist. Lecturer Mustafa Nadhim Salim – Head of the Entrepreneurship Division

Assist. Prof. Dr. Saba Najman Yaseen – Liaison Member of the Division at the College of Dentistry

The first day of the workshop addressed mechanisms for supporting and transforming research ideas in the field of dentistry into innovative entrepreneurial projects, as well as how to benefit from the services and support provided by the Technological Incubator to develop such projects.

The workshop activities are scheduled to continue tomorrow, Monday, in Lecture Hall (2) at the College of Dentistry building, starting at 12:00 p.m.

It is worth mentioning that this workshop is held as part of the Continuing Education activities of the College and is completely free of charge, reflecting the University’s commitment to spreading knowledge and enhancing skills among the widest possible segment of its staff and interested participants.
