Introductory Lecture on Electronic File Archiving

The Quality Assurance and University Performance Division held an introductory lecture today on the electronic archiving of files in the Discussion Hall. The lecture was delivered by the Chief Engineer, Mr. Ahmed Abdulkareem Qado, in the presence of the division’s staff and affiliated units.
The lecture included an explanation of the mechanisms for transitioning from paper-based archiving to electronic archiving, highlighting its role in organizing administrative work, accelerating the completion of procedures, and ensuring the secure and systematic preservation of files.
This step comes within the framework of achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by supporting digital transformation in educational institutions, enhancing the efficiency of university administration, and ensuring the sustainability of preserving educational and administrative data, thereby positively reflecting on the quality of education and its outcomes.
The importance of electronic archiving in meeting programmatic accreditation requirements was also emphasized, through documenting the evidence and files required for accreditation, facilitating access to them, and strengthening quality standards and institutional governance.
This lecture falls within the division’s ongoing efforts to promote a culture of quality and digital transformation, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and the requirements of academic accreditation.
