Department of Conservative Dentistry

Overview of the Conservative Dentistry Department:

The Conservative Dentistry Department was established alongside the founding of the College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul, to serve as a scientific hub providing comprehensive academic services to patients under the direct supervision of a specialized scientific staff. The department leads and supervises undergraduate students in both the theoretical and practical aspects of operative dentistry. It also offers endodontic treatments and fixed dental prostheses.

The department has continuously graduated advanced cohorts of postgraduate students, including both Master’s and PhD degrees. The Master’s program began in 1997 and continues to this day, while the PhD program began accepting students in 2010 and is still ongoing. The department currently includes 44 faculty members holding various academic degrees and titles.
