Al-Farouq Student Housing Complex
Al-Farouq Student Housing Complex is located on the right side of Mosul city near (Qasim Al-Khayat Roundabout). The complex consists of five sections: Section (1), Section (2), Section (3), Section (4), and Section (5) for male students. It is considered one of the largest student housing complexes, with a capacity of up to 1,748 students distributed across the sections.
Sections (2 and 3) are designed with a room system and equipped with air conditioning systems (heating and cooling). Sections (1, 4, and 5) are designed with an apartment system, and their heating and cooling systems operate using evaporative coolers and oil heaters. All rooms in the complex are fully furnished with the necessary items for our dear students.
The complex also includes a maintenance unit and a secondary power station with three electric generators. An emergency power line supplies electricity to the complex 24/7. Fire extinguishers are distributed throughout all facilities to ensure the safety of students and building furnishings.
From an environmental, health, and recreational perspective, the complex includes gardens, sports fields (for futsal, volleyball, and basketball), and a large display screen (data show) for broadcasting sports matches at times suitable for our students. There is also a centralized drinking water purification system, along with ongoing attention and follow-up for all services our dear students may need.
