A workshop on solar energy at the Environmental Research Center.
Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Qusai Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Dr. Saba Khair Al-Din Al-Tai, Director of the Environmental Research Center, a workshop was held entitled “Using Solar Energy as an Alternative Energy… Obstacles and Solutions” for two days, 7-8 December 2022. The workshop opened with a speech by the Director of the Center, who welcomed In the presence of participants and lecturers, the importance and benefits of using solar energy were explained. After that, Dr. Iyad Jiyad Zarzis (College of Science / Department of Physics) gave a lecture on the uses of solar energy as an alternative energy, followed by a lecture entitled “Economic aspects of using solar cells compared to national electricity” by Dr. Muhammad Mahmoud Younes (College of Science/Department of Renewable Energies).
