Desertification represents a serious challenge facing sustainable development in every country due to the negative impact on human health, agriculture ,food security, economic activity, infrastructure and natural resources.
In order to shed light on desertification, the Environmental Research Center conducted a seminar entitled “
Desertification fighting in Iraq,” prepared by Assistant Lecturer Amna Fares Farhan ( staff member at our center) on Sunday, November 19, 2023, in the center’s lecture hall, attended by a number of employees and faculty members of the Environmental Research Center.
