“Ethical Contamination and financial and administrative corruption” is the title of a workshop held by the Environmental Research Center.
Based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to shed light on moral pollution and financial and administrative corruption, the Environmental Research Center held a workshop entitled “Moral Pollution and Financial and Administrative Corruption” on Sunday, February 25, 2024 in the Scientific and Literary Forum Hall, attended by the Director of the Legal Affairs Department, Dr. Sahar Hayal Ghanem. A representative of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, and it was attended by some directors of research centers and a number of professors and associates at the university.
The workshop addressed several topics related to corruption, the first of which was a lecture entitled “Corruption from an administrative perspective,” delivered by A. M. Dr.. Ali Dhanoun Al-Jader / College of Administration and Economics. A lecture was also given in the workshop entitled “Homosexuality from the Islamic Perspective” by A. M. Dr.. Safwan Taj al-Din Ali/College of Islamic Sciences, the most recent lecture entitled “Mechanisms for Combating Financial and Administrative Corruption within the Framework of International Law” was a joint meeting between A. M. Dr.. Ziad Abdel Wahab Al Nuaimi/Faculty of Law and Eng. M. Heba Mahidi Younis / Presidency of the University of Mosul, where the lectures focused on shedding light on administrative corruption and explaining its effects on society, as well as identifying its types and how to eliminate it.
At the conclusion of the workshop, certificates of appreciation were distributed to the lecturers who participated in the workshop.
