“up to date methods of drinking water treatment” is the title of the fourteenth forum held by the Environmental Research Center.

In order to shed light on modern water purification technologies while promoting a deeper understanding of innovative methods to ensure clean and sustainable water sources for the community, the Environmental Research Center held its fourteenth forum today, Monday, April 29, 2024, entitled “Modern methods for purifying drinking water.” Part of it was attended by Professor Dr. Mounir. Salem Taha, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, where the symposium began with a lecture by Dr. Zakaria Nafi Mahmoud Shehab entitled (Innovative Technologies for Water Purification), followed by a lecture by Assistant Professor Taha Ahmed Al-Tayyar entitled (Technology for Removal of Dissolved Salts in Water), then a lecture was given entitled ( A study of filtration technology for river banks in purifying drinking water on the sides of the Tigris River, the ideal solution to a critical situation) delivered by Dr. Riyad Mahmoud Saleh. The forum concluded with a lecture titled (A Journey Through Time on the Banks of the Tigris River, Vision and Quality), which was a joint work between Dr. Mai Abdel Hafez Abdel Qader and the lecturer assistant Aamina Fares Farhan. Professor Dr. Mounir Salem Taha distributed certificates of appreciation to the participants during the forum.
