Environmental Researches Center

Under the patronage and attendance of Professor Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision and follow-up of Assistant Professor Dr. Saba Khair Al-Din Ibrahim, Chair of the Permanent Committee for Sustainable Development and Director of the Environmental Research Center, the third annual Sustainable Development Festival was held on Monday, 21 – 24 April 2025
, attendanc of members of the University Council and various community figures.

The opening program included a speech by the University President and the Chair of the University’s Permanent Committee for Sustainable Development, as well as a video presentation by the Colleges of Medicine and Dentistry, highlighting the provision of environmental, social, and economic services. There was also a theatrical performance by children from the University of Mosul Kindergarten, conveying the message of childhood in preserving a clean environment and sustainable living.

On the sidelines of the opening session, Professor Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi inaugurated an exhibition of scientific projects and innovations in the field of clean energy and sustainable development projects.
