Environmental Researches Center

Assistant Professor Dr. Saba Khairuddin Ibrahim, Director of the Environmental Research Center at the University of Mosul, received a delegation from Future University on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. The delegation included Professor Dr. Salwan Obaid Wahid, Director of the Energy Center, and Professor Dr. Qusay Rashid Abdul Amir, accompanied by Dr. Salwan Samir Sabri from the Department of Sustainable Energy Engineering at the University of Mosul.

During the meeting, they discussed ways of scientific and research cooperation between the two sides, particularly in areas of mutual interest in sustainable energy and environmental protection.

The two parties discussed the possibility of organizing joint scientific activities such as conferences, workshops, training programs, and the exchange of research expertise. This would contribute to supporting national efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

This visit comes within the framework of strengthening cooperation between universities and research centers to develop innovative scientific solutions to address environmental and energy challenges in Iraq, and opening new horizons for integration between higher education institutions to serve society and the environment.
